The company sold 2.6 million Lexus SUVs last year.
It sold 2 million in 2015.
Lexis is currently in talks with several automakers about building more luxury SUV cars.
Lexuses first luxury car, the Lexus ES350, is expected to go on sale in 2019.
The ES350 was built in Japan and is an upscale, luxury sedan.
It was the first Lexus to be produced in the United States and has a top-of-the-line, six-cylinder engine.
The car has a four-door package, and it will have a leather interior.
Lexias first luxury SUV, the new Lexus GS350, was unveiled at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show.
It will be available in three versions, and will be priced between $27,995 and $36,395.
The SUV is powered by a 6.4-liter, V8 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque.
It makes around 180 horsepower and 180 pound-foot of torque in the city and 70 hp and 90 pound-ft of torque on the highway.
Lexas first luxury crossover, the Chevrolet Trax, was revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show in April.
The first Trax will be produced at the company’s plant in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
It comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 3.5-liter V6 engine.
It also comes with a five-speed manual transmission.
The Trax is priced between about $28,400 and $39,950.
